- MC announces:
The Minister of Digitization, Marek Zagórski, and the ministers of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia responsible for telecommunications, signed a memorandum of cooperation on 5G connectivity and connected and automated mobility (CAM) in the North Sea - Baltic Sea transport corridor.

The memorandum summarizes the cooperation of Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia to date in the implementation of the 5G and CAM networks in the North Sea - Baltic Sea corridor.
Also approves the Via Baltica 5G road map / cross-border corridors for CAM agreed by the intergovernmental task force on November 28, 2019.
It forms the basis for the further implementation of the above roadmap and agreeing a time frame for specific commitments and actions.
- The 5G network is important for stimulating innovation, especially in the area of transport, including for the development of sustainable mobility and improvement of road safety - says Minister of Digitization Marek Zagórski.
The memorandum is part of in activities in the field of development of 5G networks and services and the promotion of automated road transport in cross-border test areas, initiated by 29 European countries, including Poland, in a letter of intent signed in Rome, 23 March 2017.
