Winners of the competition for the Entrepreneur-Friendly Tax Office

64 tax offices were awarded in the 18th edition of the "Entrepreneur-Friendly Tax Office" competition organized by the Business Center Club with the participation of the Ministry of Finance. The results were announced on Thursday.

Most of them, nine offices, were awarded in the Śląskie Voivodeship, seven in Mazowieckie, six in Kujawsko-Pomorskie and Zachodniopomorskie. The distinguished tax offices receive the title of "Entrepreneur-Friendly Tax Office - 2020" and the right to use it for a year until the next edition of the competition is resolved.

This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the competition survey was conducted electronically, which - as BCC emphasized - made it possible to ask more questions and conduct a wider study. The respondents were asked about various aspects of contact with tax offices, including available infrastructure, service level, frequency of contacts or language used by officials to communicate with people contacting them.

The answers to the questions have been divided into thematic blocks, allowing for the analysis of many elements that make up the image of tax offices and the relationships they build from the perspective of an entrepreneur.

“During these 18 years, we have honoured hundreds of officials. We honoured them for their kindness, for the fact that they reach out to entrepreneurs and strive for the US to become pro-consumer. I would like to thank the winners for your kindness, understanding and rejection of stereotypes that we are opponents, ”said the president of BCC, Marek Goliszewski, during the meeting which selected the winners.

Minister of Finance Tadeusz Kościński, addressing the meeting participants, emphasized that the initiative was part of wider activities of the Ministry of Finance and KAS.

"We build partnership relations with business. Our goal is not only to secure the interests of the state budget but also to ensure good conditions for the functioning of honest business in Poland, said the minister.

“We are changing so that our services are comfortable and modern. We care about high standards of service, but also about creating relations between KAS and citizens, including entrepreneurs, based on mutual kindness and professionalism, ”Kościński said.

He congratulated the heads and employees of all awarded tax offices and thanked them for "everyday commitment and professionalism". "It is thanks to you that the image of the Tax Offices and the entire National Tax Administration is completely different, better than a few years ago" - added the minister.
