Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel infected with coronavirus

Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, heir to the Swedish throne, are infected with coronavirus; are feeling well, informed the Swedish royal court. Prince Daniel is at risk for a kidney transplant.

"They both have mild flu-like symptoms," said royal spokeswoman Margareta Thorgren.

The princely couple and their children - Princess Stella and Prince Oscar, have been in isolation at the Haga Palace near Stockholm since Wednesday. They were informed about the positive result of the coronavirus test on Thursday.

That evening, Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel were scheduled to attend a public television service dedicated to the victims of Covid-19 one year after the death of Sweden's first coronavirus infected person.

The ceremony was attended by the King of Sweden, Charles XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, as well as other members of the royal family as substitutes for the princes.

Prince Daniel is at risk after having a kidney transplant from his father.
