Let's celebrate and understand what is Pride Month?

According to Google,

The month of June was chosen for LGBT Pride Month to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact LGBT people have had in the world.

Pride is the best opportunity to peacefully raise political awareness of current issues facing the community. Parades are one of the prominent features of pride month.

What is LGBT or Gay Pride?

It is a movement that celebrates sexual diversity. For lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people it is a way of protesting about discrimination and violence. It promotes their dignity, equal rights, self-affirmation, and is a way of increasing society’s awareness of the issues they face.
