Games for the Polish Cup virtually

The Polish Football Association is pleased to announce the organization of a virtual competition for the Polish Cup. All football clubs in Poland that are registered in the PZPN structures will be able to take part in two tournaments in FIFA 21 and eFootball PES 2021. The teams will compete for the first Polish eCup, and the winners will be invited to participate in a closed qualification that will select the representatives of Poland in eFootball.

The Polish eCup is a parallel competition in two football games - FIFA 21 published by Electronic Arts and eFootball PES 2021 published by Konami. Rival clubs may take up the challenge in one or both of the games. The tournament itself is dedicated to all football teams in Poland, from Ekstraklasa to the lower league. The organizers also invite teams from the Central Junior League, women's leagues, futsal and beach soccer.

In order to promote the team aspect, the teams will consist of two players, and only players indicated by the club will play in the competition. Participation in the eCup of Poland is an opportunity to present your skills among the esports community, and, in the case of good results, an additional source of pride for fans. The competition winners will be invited to participate in a closed qualifier that will select the Polish eFootball representatives. Next year, both teams will compete for the UEFA eEURO 2021 European Championship and the FIFA eNations Cup World Cup.

The FIFA 21 tournament will take place in the FIFA Ultimate Team mode with the use of Polish cards only, and the duels will be played in the 2x 1vs1 format. The PES 2021 tournament will be held in the Co-Op Online mode, using only the Polish national team, and matches will be played in a 2x 2v2 format. Teams will be drawn to the cup ladders, and the matches will be held in the aggregate system.

The eCup of Poland will be played in two stages:

· Regional stage intended for clubs from the lower leagues (4th league, district class, class A, class B), as well as the Central Junior League, women's leagues, futsal and beach soccer.

· Central stage dedicated to the clubs of PKO BP Ekstraklasa, Fortuna of the 1st league, 2nd league and 3rd league.

The most important dates:

11/12/2020 (until 23:59) - deadline for applications for clubs from the regional stage;

· December 14, 2020 - December 20, 2020 - the regional stage of the Polish eCup;
