The Wrocław aquapark has signed a cooperation agreement with PayEye, a Wrocław-based company that was the first in the world to introduce a biometric payment in the form of an iris reader. The service will be available when the aquapark is reopened after the pandemic.
The press release sent to PAP stated that the Wrocław aquapark had signed a contract with PayEye, a Wrocław-based company that was the first in the world to introduce biometric payment in the form of an iris reader. The payeye system takes advantage of the fact that the iris of the eye, like fingerprints, are unique - different for every person.
“As soon as the sanitary restrictions are loosened and the water park opens for visitors, the innovative iris payment will be available to them right away. No water park in the world has such an offer for its clients ”- we read.
The president of the water park, Grzegorz Kaliszczak, quoted in the announcement, emphasized that as soon as he heard about the possibility of making payments with his eye, he decided that it was an ideal solution for the customers of the water park.
“You come to the swimming pool, sauna or gym with a packed towel, sports clothes, bathing suit and flip-flops. If we do not need to have a wallet or a phone with us, and we make the payment literally in the blink of an eye, our stay will become faster and easier. We love such technological novelties, ”said Kaliszczak.
“We dreamed of a payment system that would not require a wallet, card, telephone, or any additional accessory that would limit us. The customers of the Wrocław aquapark want to enjoy its attractions with full freedom, and that was what the idea of payeye, which we are implementing, was about, ”said Krystian Kulczycki, president of PayEye, quoted in the release.
As stated, in order to be able to make such a payment, simply register at www.payeye.com and fund your free account. During the first visit to the aqupark, a biometric template (payeye code) will be created, which will be used for secure payments. The use of the account as well as the transactions made with the iris of the eye are free.
You can pay with this form at several dozen points in Wrocław and Lower Silesia. (PAP)
